We were so excited about the images from JWST, and today we take a look at one particularly beautiful piece of art inspired by the mission — stained glass created by astronomers David Law and Nora Luetzgendorf!
We've got a fun story to share about the designer behind some of these amazing new space masks—Emily Levine (a.k.a. Sally Starrider), a graphic designer who entered the space fashion world thanks to her brother and Astronomy on Tap.
I got these as a gift for my space-loving spouse who also does most of the cooking in our family, and he loves them! They’ve held up wonderfully for over a year (also in the dishwasher!) the designs on the blades as vibrant as when we got them. The box is also a great storage option, although now I’m in the market for a countertop display because they get used so often and they are beautiful to look at!
I wore this during the annular solar eclipse and people loved it! It runs a little large/true to size, so don't size up like I did (whoops). I also appreciate that it was asymmetrical; longer in the back to help cover the junk in the trunk.
