SciArt from Chrissy Sparks Art

In Cosmos, Carl Sagan said, “We are a way for the universe to know itself.” We think there might be no better expression of that sentiment than art, the ultimate human expression, created with the cosmos in mind. 

For #SciArtSunday we wanted to highlight one of our favorite space-inspired - and astronomically talented - artists, Chrissy Sparks, who is based in Denver, Colorado, USA. In addition to wearable art like hand-painted earrings and necklaces, she creates both traditional and mixed-media paintings with a combination of accuracy and artistic interpretation that is simply stunning.
