What could be better than a real space image on a wonderfully twirl-worthy midi-length dress, with POCKETS! This design features a real image of the Sun, from the National Science Foundation's Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST, pronounced dee-kisst"), the most powerful solar telescope in the world. The dark splotches are a cool sunspot that is about 10,000 miles across, larger than the Earth! And cool is definitely relative - sunspots are about 6,000° F, compared to 10,000° F for the Sun's surface on average.
Dress is made from 95% polyester, 5% elastane (composition may vary by 1%) mid-weight jersey fabric with with an boat neckline, long sleeves, fitted waist, approximately below-the-knee-length skirt with flared hem, overlock seams, and coverstitch hemline. Blank components sourced from the US or Lithuania.

Just wow!! An amazing sunspot dress!! Adore the print, shape, sporty material, and fit. The symmetric print placement of the sun’s surface is very flattering and reminiscent of Alex McQ’s dresses except astro! I asked about making a dress in their sunspot print and they got back to me right away about designing it and am so happy how this turned out! Favorite astro piece ever. Thank you Emily!!
