NASA is studying asteroids like never before, and we've designed the perfect scarf for enjoying the journey! Lucy, launched in October 2021, is a 12-year mission to study 10 asteroids, including the first close-up views of Trojan asteroids that share an orbit with the planet Jupiter. "Sister" mission Psyche will launch in October 2023 to study its namesake main belt asteroid, a uniquely metal-rich asteroid with distinctive surface craters. Each plush purple scarf is hand-printed with illustrations by planetary scientist Briley Lewis in metallic silver ink.

Scarves are 74 inches long and 28 inches wide with 3-inch tassels on both ends. Scarf shown is a pashmina-esque plush weave viscose & acrylic blend. A lightweight viscose modal with linen-like weave is available via custom order. Hand wash cold, lay flat or hang to dry, safe to iron. Printed with non-toxic, water-based ink by hand in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
