Celebrate the full spectrum of light that JWST has shed on the Universe, as well as the people behind it, with a vibrant JWST Rising pillow case. The design is based on a stained glass piece by astronomers David Law and Nora Luetzgendorf. Nora created the graphic design, including the rainbow tessellations filling the iconic JWST mirrors, and David made the original stained glass piece, which now hangs in the lobby of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, also the home of the JWST Mission Operations Center.
Pillow case is 100% pre-shrunk, heavy-duty, machine-washable polyester with a linen-like texture, measuring 20 inches long and 12 inches tall when empty. Hidden zipper (black) at the bottom and white artist and STARtorialist logos on one side. Blank components sourced from China or Poland.
This product is only the pillowcase/cover, without filling; we recommend you use a pillow form you already own, or stuff with scrap fabric or stuffing that would otherwise go in a landfill (t-shirts, socks, stuffed animals - get creative!).
