Mismatched spacecraft + science earrings are the perfect conversation starter and teaching tool! These vibrant, lightweight earrings are made from upcycled cereal boxes (really!) and supremely durable. The Cassini spacecraft was launched in 1997, and the mission studied the Saturn system, including the Huygens probe that landed on Titan in 2005, until it plunged into the planet on September 15, 2017.
Earrings are ~0.75-1 inch in size, made from locally sourced paperboard with a clear protective coating, on surgical steel wire earrings. Avoid getting this piece wet in order to preserve the image. Made in Pennsylvania, USA.
