Shine with the light of thousands of galaxies across billions of years of spacetime! These shorts are printed with the Hubble eXtreme Deep Field (HXDF) image, which contains over 5,500 galaxies, some seen as they were over 13 billion years ago, just half a million years after the Big Bang. The image was made using eight optical and infrared light filters and required about 22.5 days of observing time. The area on the sky is much smaller than the Full Moon, toward the southern constellation of Fornax.
Shorts are 82% polyester, 12% spandex fabric with four-way stretch. High waistband, triangle-shaped gusset crotch, and flat seams and coverstitching for maximum comfort. Double-layered waistband with 1-inch elastic and a pocket in the back for a phone and keys. Inseam length (crotch to hem) is 9 to 10 inches depending on size, and rise (crotch to top of waistband) is 10 to 11.5 inches. Blank product components sourced from China or Lithuania.
