Celebrate the full spectrum of light that JWST has shed on the Universe, as well as the people behind it, with a soft and vibrant JWST Rising blanket. The design is based on a stained glass piece by astronomers David Law and Nora Luetzgendorf. Nora created the graphic design, including the rainbow tessellations filling the iconic JWST mirrors, and David made the original stained glass piece, which now hangs in the lobby of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, also the home of the JWST Mission Operations Center.
Blanket is soft "minky" 100% polyester fabric that is machine-washable, flame retardant, and hypoallergenic. Image is printed on one side, and the blanket is white on the reverse (white will also show through the image when the nap is rustled). Available in two rectangular sizes, with either the shorter or the longer side measuring 60 inches (5 feet) long. Blank product sourced from China.
