You've seen our Flight Jacket, now check out our light jackets, the perfect lightweight extra layer featuring real space telescope images! This is the Hubble eXtreme Deep Field (HXDF) image, which contains over 5,500 galaxies, some seen as they were over 13 billion years ago, just half a million years after the Big Bang. The image was made using eight optical and infrared light filters and required about 22.5 days of observing time. The area on the sky is much smaller than the Full Moon, toward the southern constellation of Fornax.
