The raw meteorite rests in a simple oval bezel. Campo del Cielo meteorites are from an object that was thought to be more than 13 feet across before it impacted Earth ~4,500 years ago, itself a remnant of the formation of the Solar System 4.5 billion years ago.

Pendant is just over 0.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, made of rhodium-plated brass and a genuine Campo del Cielo iron-nickel meteorite on an 18-inch chain with lobster-style clasp. Each stone is different and will vary in shape and style. Meteorite contains nickel, though it is not in an area that comes in contact easily with skin when wearing the necklace. Avoid getting this piece wet in order to preserve the stone and its setting. Handcrafted in Maryland, USA.
