Drape yourself in the beauty of the cosmos! Elegant chiffon scarves are designed and sewn by a Ph.D. astronomer, using real space images from JWST. Perfect for wearing in so many ways or gifting to anyone with whom you love sharing space. This image is the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, including foreground stars recognizable by the characteristic diffraction spikes, and even more distant galaxies magnified and lensed into orange-red arcs by the cluster's mass, which curves spacetime according to the general relativity. The Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) image extends far beyond Hubble's deepest fields in just 12.5 hours of observation time. The nearest galaxies in the cluster are about 4 billion light years away in the the southern constellation of Volans.
Scarf is 55 inches long and 14 inches wide, made from 45 gsm polyester chiffon printed with ecologically safe inks (OKEO-TEX certified). Each scarf is finished with a professional rolled hem and rounded corners, packaged in a beautiful box ready for gifting. Care instructions: gently spot-clean with a damp cloth. Handcrafted using solar power in France.
