This funky, chunky necklace features an infrared image of Saturn's moon Titan taken during NASA's Cassini Mission encased on a disk of vintage Bakelite (the first synthetic plastic). The juxtaposition of an intriguing image from a cutting-edge interplanetary mission with vintage styles and materials makes for a bold, steampunk-meets-science look.
Necklace is a 1.75-inch-diameter pendant on a 16-inch-long bronze chain with unique triangular links and toggle clasp. Avoid getting this piece wet in order to preserve the image. Handmade in Denver, Colorado, USA.
