Semiprecious stone beads represent the major planets of the Solar System, with terrestrial planets on one hoop and gas & ice giants on the other. Designed and handcrafted by astronomy graduate student Briley Lewis using beads curated by planetary scientist and space evangelist Emily Lakdawalla, this is truly a fabulous collaboration, much like science itself!
Earrings are approximately 1.75 inches across, with 6 mm gas giant planets and 4-5 mm terrestrial planets, on nickel free posts. Handcrafted in California.
